More and more businesses are turning to Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync when it comes to putting unified communications (UC) systems into place, and of course for many other reasons as well. But for those who find that Microsoft Lync UC could use a little extra juice, there's a new reason to cheer as Tone Software Corporation recently announced the immediate availability of its new ReliaTel Service Success Pack for Microsoft Lync. With the arrival of the ReliaTel Service Success Pack comes a complete set of new tools that make bringing Microsoft Lync's quality and service level management systems to other companies a snap.
The ReliaTel Service Success Pack includes an array of tools geared toward improving Microsoft Lync adoption, starting with a set of tools for quality and performance monitoring as well as quality and capacity reporting to help manage the use of the network involved. Beyond that, there are also tools to help smooth the way to introduce the service pack with potential users, including educational tools, marketing materials, and several sales strategies complete with necessary tools to carry out same. There are professional services added in, along with technology training measures to help clear the way further. After putting all this to work, many businesses will likely be ready to pull the trigger on a Lync deployment of some kind, so the ReliaTel Service Success Pack also reportedly boasts a licensing structure that focuses on ease of use and a deployment methodology that focuses on getting up and running in the most rapid fashion possible.
Tone Software (News - Alert)'s director of UC strategies, Paul Wiggins, offered up some commentary on the issue. Essentially, Wiggins pointed out that Microsoft Lync UC is a very popular piece of corporate software right now, with more and more companies getting on board. That in turn is putting a particular weight on service providers, who likewise are adding to the roster of capabilities offered in order to keep pace with competing service providers. Most of the time, the companies that succeed in the field are those that achieve the best numbers in cost efficiencies, which gives said companies more room to pass savings on to the customers. In this case, Tone's ReliaTel offers a terrific move in cost efficiencies, which in turn should pose Tone as a force to be reckoned with in the field.
It is, as Wiggins noted, a very competitive market out there in terms of Microsoft Lync deployments, with a variety of firms eager to get in on the action and provide services to an increasingly large number of businesses eager to get said products and services in place. With good reason, really; the use of Microsoft Lync tools is posing great opportunities for cost savings and business improvements to businesses, so putting these tools to use can have some real bottom-line impact. Thus service providers doing likewise should ultimately prove an equal measure of success, and Tone Software looks to be ahead of the curve.
Only time will tell, in the end, just how well Tone's ReliaTel Service Success Pack does in the field, but it's a pretty safe bet that this powerful new tool coming out into a market eager for such advances should ultimately prove well-received.
