If you're a wireless Internet service provider, an IT service company, a PBX (News - Alert) specialist or just someone who wants to migrate to VoIP without investing a huge amount of money, then the best way to go about it, according to Wanatel, is to become a reseller for voice over IP services.
But Wanatel -- which offers Internet telephony communications and VoIP services on top of other IT services and products -- notes that becoming a wholesale VoIP reseller, while promising good returns, is a decision that shouldn’t be made in haste.
The fact that reselling VoIP doesn’t require huge investments and huge network construction is a plus point for resellers. But when it comes to choosing equipment for clients, they should be able to identify the correct hardware and solutions that are suitable for each individual business – a “one-size-fits all” approach will not work. With hosted and cloud PBX systems, Evan Damon at Wanatel says that resellers can have VoIP installed in minutes.
But plunging into the unknown is always fraught with risk and can cause uncertainty. However, thanks to Wanatel’s White Label solution, VoIP resellers can breathe easier and feel confident that they are never on their own. The service provider has all that’s needed to propel VoIP resellers into the market.
In addition, resellers have access to a wide range of products and a state of the art infrastructure that is maintained by the service provider. With skilled technicians to take care of the network, resellers can just focus on their job.
Wanatel cautions prospective resellers to choose a platform that has integrated billing or else they’d have to buy a separate solution for that. The provider also notes that the best way to get started is to use its turnkey solution to control the VoIP services and activity for clients.
Thinking about it? Wanatel says the advantages of being a VoIP reseller are many: not being tied to an office desk, you’re your own boss, no business overhead, there’s tremendous scope and potential for fast growth and an easy way to make huge profits.
