Tone Software’s ReliaTel VoIP and unified communications management solution is now compliant with key collaboration solutions from Avaya (News - Alert), a global provider of business collaboration and communication solutions.
Tone, itself a provider of comprehensive voice quality and unified communications management software for converged voice and IT infrastructures, reports its ReliaTel solution is a complete service assurance platform. That means it helps managed service providers and enterprises to proactively manage VoIP QoS, SIP trunks, UC services, and underlying network performance to meet service level agreements, increase operational efficiency, lower support costs and drive higher value from collaboration technologies.
The Relia Tel app has been compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura Communication Manager 6.2 using SNMP for alarm monitoring and System Administrator Terminal (SAT) for trunk group performance reporting.
“ReliaTel delivers broad visibility, deep analytics, and control over the quality, performance, and service levels that today’s Enterprises and Managed Service Providers require from their VoIP and UC technologies,” said Shirley Balarezo, president of Tone Software (News - Alert). “Through Avaya compliance testing, our mutual clients are assured of interoperable solutions they can rely on to communicate, collaborate, and innovate.”
ReliaTel monitors and manages faults, voice quality, performance, traffic and capacity across virtually any mix of VoIP and UC technologies, TDM PBXs and network infrastructure components, the company said. This is accomplished via a wide variety of configurations, all from a unified management portal.
In addition, the ReliaTel Reporting solution provides customizable CDR, traffic, capacity and performance reports that help Enterprises and Managed Service Providers eliminate quality degradation and network congestion to better optimize operations.
Tone Software is also a technology partner in the Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.
“Communication and collaboration fuels every aspect of business today, and Technology Partners like Tone Software are helping Avaya customers derive stronger business value from their investments in standards-based collaboration solutions,” said Eric Rossman (News - Alert), vice president of developer relations at Avaya. “As a result, companies can confidently adopt technologies that seamlessly integrate into the overall unified communications strategy of their businesses.”
