Speakerbus Limited raised its reputation a notch higher in the voice management space by inviting market data industry veteran John Jessop to come aboard as strategic advisor to the board of directors.
The appointment is expected to further extend the reach of Speakerbus' suite of trader voice solutions as Jessop uses his market knowledge and extensive international experience to contribute to the expansion of the company, said company officials.
"Speakerbus has developed an excellent suite of trader voice solutions. It is now in a strong position to fulfill its potential in the global financial markets and to expand in other areas of financial services. I look forward to helping the company achieve its objectives," said Jessop.
He commenced his career at Reuters (News - Alert), in London as financial editor and senior marketing executive and never looked back, according to company officials. While at Reuters, Jessop served in several managerial and executive positions. Jessop has spent 40 years in various executive and non-executive positions in various companies.
Jessop has also demonstrated his literary skills as he authored a memoir “Tales from the South Pier,” a book that traces Jessop's journey of over four decades at the financial information industry.
Fittingly, Jessop was elected a founder member of Inside Market Data magazine's inaugural Hall of Fame in 2010. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and currently working as a consultant in corporate restructuring.
"We are pleased to welcome someone of John's acknowledged stature and reputation to the company. We believe his market knowledge and extensive international experience will hugely contribute to the expansion of a company like ours," said Andy Wodhams, founder and CEO at Speakerbus.
