Tone Software (News - Alert) Corporation, a leader in voice management software, will not only be an eager guest at the upcoming IAUG Global Conference, held from May 22-26 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, but it will also be an active participant.
During IAUG, one of the world's largest international gatherings for communications technology professionals, Tone Software will host a session entitled “The Language of VoIP QoS – Demystified,” hosted by Tone Software’s Director of Strategic Technology Advancement Amit Kapoor.
The session will help participants understand how to support a converged voice and data environment while working with VoIP quality metrics how to use metrics to successfully deliver VoIP quality and converged voice services. The session, which will take place Thursday, May 26, at 9:45 a.m., focuses on the terminology, impact, and utilization of QoS metrics to successfully support a VoIP environment.
“The IAUG Avaya (News - Alert) Users conference is an excellent venue for Tone to connect with the Avaya user community, as well as other Avaya DevConnect Partners and Avaya Business Partners,” said Kapoor in a statement. “Direct interaction with users provides insight into the technologies currently being deployed, how those technologies are integrating with existing voice and network environments, and what challenges Avaya users are tackling as they advance their communications initiatives and offer new voice services to their organizations and clients.”
The IAUG global event provides a valuable opportunity for both managed service providers and enterprises responsible for delivering VoIP QoS and voice service levels in Avaya voice environments to meet Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) Partners such as Tone Software, and explore solutions to address their convergence challenges.
This year, Tone Software is eager to take advantage of the “excellent venue” to connect with the Avaya user community as well as many of the other Avaya DevConnect partners and Avaya Business Partners.
“The direct interaction with the users provides clarity on what technologies are currently being adopted, how those technologies are meshing with existing IT and network environments, and what issues and challenges Avaya users are facing as they advance their communications initiatives and roll out new voice services,” Tone Software’s Director of Marketing Tracey Whitney told TMCnet recently. “Tone’s ReliaTel VoIP QoS and Converged network management technology is used in many Avaya-centric environments to manage Avaya VoIP QoS through direct analysis of Avaya RTCP data, as well as managing the physical Avaya communications infrastructure, so we really enjoy interacting one on one with Avaya users to help them address their convergence challenges, and show them ways they can cost effectively ensure voice quality and service levels through our ReliaTel solution.”
Many Avaya-centric environments rely on Tone Software’s ReliaTel VoIP QoS and Converged network management technology to manage Avaya VoIP QoS through direct analysis of Avaya RTCP data, as well as manage the entire underlying physical communications infrastructure. ReliaTel is platform-agnostic and fully supports the full gamut of Nortel (News - Alert) communications technologies, as well as many other IT technologies, to provide comprehensive management of the entire communications ecosystem in a unified solution – regardless of the technology mix, according to company officials.
Tone Software will be providing live ReliaTel demonstrations in booth #716 on the IAUG show floor.
