It also boasts a VoIP switch which raises the bar dramatically on overall call quality.

The Is-phone Desktop Notes/Sametime 9.5 also adds enterprise telephony capabilities, Sametime presence synchronization and instant audio/video conferencing in HD quality without the need for a media server or a connection to the legacy company/service provider's MCU server.

Some of the functions of this offering include support for multiple IBM (News - Alert) Notes addressbooks and LDAP-directories, the ability to search through multiple addressbooks with ease, looking up phone numbers of incoming calls in a short period of time, and signficiant HD video and audio improvements.

Built on open standards, the is-phone Desktop Notes/Sametime is interoperable with all of the major platforms and devices currently on the market.It includes features specifically designed for business and enterprise users and can be quickly deployed within an enterprise environment either by manual configuration via the graphical user interface or by using a provisioning server.

Back in January, iscoord released its is-phone app for iOS devices, allowing both residential and corporate users to make mobile video and voice calls on all modesl of the Apple (News - Alert) iPhone and iPad over both 3G/4G or Wi-Fi networks.

The is-phone Mobile 3.0 - iPhone edition from iscoord will assist users in making high quality video calls with any remote party who is using open-standards video hard phones or softphones available on the market including iscoord video solutions for both the desktop and mobile. 

Furhter, the is-phone Mobile 3.0 - iPhone application comes with an intuitive graphical interface and allows for the easy handling of three concurrent calls or three-way conference calls.
