Junction Networks (News - Alert), a provider of business VoIP communications services, has unveiled a new rewards program aimed at lowering the capital expense of switching to hosted VoIP.

Officials with Junction Networks said that the purchase of any five Polycom (News - Alert) phones with the OnSIP provisioning package installed will earn the buyer a $300 credit towards their OnSIP account.

“In addition to achieving greater flexibility and productivity, businesses switching to hosted VoIP usually experience fairly dramatic cost savings,” said Rob Wolpov, president of Junction Networks, in a statement.

Wolpov said the company helps customers get over the initial hump – the capital outlay of buying new phones.

“We’re stepping up to help customers get past that hurdle because we are confident OnSIP will exceed their expectations as an affordable and robust business communications service,” he said. “We are very excited to offer this promotion to our current and future customers. OnSIP is a flexible, reliable, and feature-rich business communications service. We want to encourage businesses to try it, and now it’s nearly effortless and cost free to do so.”

Company officials said that to qualify for the promotional OnSIP credit, customers must purchase Polycom phones preconfigured for automatic provisioning from Telephony Depot, a premier online VoIP retailer.

With more than 10,000 accounts, Junction Networks is one of the largest providers of business VoIP service to small and medium-sized enterprises.

OnSIP is a reliable business class phone service accessed over the Internet for companies with 5 to 100 employees. OnSIP customers enjoy the benefits of a business class phone system, without the traditional high cost, burden and inflexibility.

In April, Junction Networks announced a new service, getonsip.com, with the sole mission of providing free SIP addresses to the world. With a getonsip.com address, users can communicate with anyone on the Internet via the open protocol SIP.
