By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Managing Editor

Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), manufacturer of VoIP phones and video surveillance solutions, and AireSpring, an managed telecom service provider have announced the interoperability and certification of Grandstream’s GXP21xx/14xx series enterprise high-definition (HD) VoIP phones and the GXV3175 next-generation IP Multimedia Phone on AireSpring’s (News - Alert) AirePBX cloud hosted IP PBX.

VoIP phones reseller VoIPLink, provides a number of different VoIP phones and equipment from some of the most well-known providers in the market, one partner being Grandstream.

Together, joint service provided by both companies will offer the same functionality and allows customers nationwide to easily upgrade services as business needs dictate. Certification of Grandstream phones with AirePBX provides assurance of system compatibility, voice quality and no hassle implementation.

The AirePBX managed solution presents enterprise and SMBs with the ability to help curb financial and human resources required to purchase and manage an on-site PBX telecom solution. Businesses need only install certified desktop IP telephones, according to Grandstream.

“We value our partnership with AireSpring and look forward to working together to speed the adoption of managed VoIP networks to SMB customers everywhere,” said David Li (News - Alert), CEO of Grandstream Networks. “Grandstream remains focused on working with best of breed service provider customers, like AireSpring, to bring SMB managed solutions to the next level with the coupling of our broad portfolio of feature-rich, affordable and high quality HD handsets with AirePBX.”

Grandstream’s  GXP2100, GXP2110, GXP2120, and GXP1450 feature HD voice quality, PoE, XML customization flexibility, and productivity applications. Grandstream’s new GXV3175 VoIP phone includes a large 7” touch screen LCD, 1.3 Megapixel camera, integrated WiFi (News - Alert) (802.11b/g/n) and PoE and XML customization flexibility for service providers.

“AirePBX is a cost-effective way for any SMB to update their telecommunications systems without the huge overhead of hosting and maintaining those systems themselves. Grandstream’s affordable and feature-packed handsets fit perfectly with our goals of value, features and flexibility,” stated Daniel Lonstein, AireSpring Chief Operations Officer. “No one makes hosted IP PBX easier or more affordable than AireSpring and Grandstream’s HD IP phones are the perfect complement to our product.”

According to Todd Regan, AireSpring Senior Vice President of Marketing, “AirePBX is the flexible, functional and affordable way to bring telecom power and features to the modern office, without any of the hosting and support hassles of trying to do it yourself. There is no hardware to buy, install, configure, host, or maintain with AirePBX. Customers need only buy and maintain IP telephones. And AireSpring even makes that easy by giving many of the Grandstream phones away for free with a 3 year contract.”

He added, “Best of all, AirePBX is future-proof. Once installed, businesses can easily upgrade to any of AireSpring’s enterprise Local and Integrated products without the need to install new phone and data lines.”
