Empirix Lands 2009 Global VoIP Test & Monitoring Equipment Market Award

Empirix (News - Alert) Inc. has been snapping up awards in recent years for its VoIP Testing and Monitoring solutions and this week were forced to make more room on the trophy case yet again when research firm Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) honored the company with its 2009 Global VoIP Test & Monitoring Equipment Market Leadership of the Year Award.
According to the Frost & Sullivan, Empirix made significant strides in the world of VoIP testing and monitoring in 2007 and 2008 with a majority of tier one network equipment manufacturers and service providers already using Empirix's Hammer solutions. Hammer is the primary weapon in the company's product portfolio and has a range consisting of test and monitoring solutions for a wide customer base, strategic partnerships and its global expansion strategy.
Since 1992, Empirix’s Hammer testing and monitoring solutions have helped Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs), Service Providers and Enterprise Contact Centers transition to new technologies including Unified Communications (News - Alert) IP Contact Centers, VoIP, NGN, and IMS-based networks.
And as contact centers across the country continue to stretch their resources, there has been an increasing demand for better performing applications serving multiple features – such as regression and load testing of contact center applications. Empirix testing and monitoring solutions deliver this service assurance for contact center environments in order to help ensure availability, reliability and voice quality throughout the technology lifecycle, according to Frost & Sullivan Analyst Olga Yashkova.

In fact, as TMCnet recently reported, the Empirix contact center solutions are designed to leverage the industries best practices throughout the technology lifecycle: planning, assessment, and development; focused testing during roll-out; and on-going testing and monitoring.
Empirix says the have designed the solutions to allow organizations to take a comprehensive approach to contact center testing and management— from pre-deployment testing to customer experience monitoring—to identify problems before customers or agents are affected, according to the company. The company’s Hammer Test System provides teams the ability to perform feature, regression and load testing of contact center applications.
