VoIP Gateways Provider Sangoma Announces Audited Financial Results

Sangoma Technologies Corporation, a premium provider of voice and data connectivity components for software-based communication applications, has released the highlights of its audited financial results for the year that ended June 30, 2009.

The company successfully finished the financial year with working capital of $8.97 million, compared to $8.96 million on June 30, 2008. During the year, Sangoma also enjoyed cash flow of a positive $0.68 million, despite the cash outlay for the Parazip purchase in 2008.

Sangoma offers data cards, voice cards, gateways and connectivity software for use in leading PBX (News - Alert), IVR, contact center and data-communication applications throughout the world. The product represents a comprehensive toolset for deploying cost-effective, powerful, and flexible software communication applications.

The company made a splash at this year’s ITEXPO (News - Alert) as it announced the general availability of its NetBorder Express Gateway product line under the Linux operating system.

The NetBorder Express Gateway (News - Alert) is said to offer a wide range of densities and configurations, ranging from 2-port analog to 960 ports of digital telephony on a single system, to any SIP-based application.

In July, Sangoma also presented its gateway cards as being powered by PrettyMay’s new Skype PBX Gateway solution, with the company’s A200 and B600 series analog cards.

Sangoma voice cards are gateways that integrate with existing PBX systems, as well as with external legacy networks.

In addition, Sangoma worked in conjunction with Shopnetworks to execute a distribution agreement for the Brazilian market that Shopnetworks officials say will increase the number of resellers, system integrators, and solution providers with access to Sangoma telecom products in Brazil.
