SS Telecoms to Distribute Media5's Mediatrix C7 Series VoIP Solutions

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is expected to hold significant market share in South Africa. The steady improvement in bandwidth access, along with the increasing market presence of over-the-top (OTT) VoIP products, is triggering a massive shift from voice-centered communications to VoIP solutions in the country. While VoIP is gaining steady market share, many organizations are still not aware of the issues associated with the technology and so fail in managing the network effectively, says SS Telecoms, a South African-based manufacturer of telephony solutions for Africa, Europe, the UK and Middle East. As part of its strategy to deliver the best VoIP solutions to the industry, SS Telecom recently joined as a preferred distribution partner for Media5's new Mediatrix C7 Series of VoIP solutions. According to Andres Torres, product line manager for Mediatrix products Mediatrix C7 Series of multi-function VoIP devices sets a new standard for quality at affordable price. They combine analogue adapter, gateway and QoS control in a secure and powerful platform. Media5 is highlighting the solution�s attributes as being easy to install and maintain and for offering a high level of reliability. The Mediatrix C7 Series links any standard FXS/FXO connection to the IP network to deliver a VoIP solution with the clarity of toll-quality voice. It also delivers security features such as TLS, SRTP, certificates management and HTTPS designed to bring enhanced security for network management. "Media5 has always provided best-in-class and feature-rich VoIP solutions. The Mediatrix C7 Series is the latest example. Our partners and customers will appreciate the quality and value that the Mediatrix C7 Series delivers,� said Kevin Greig, sales and product manager at Media5 South African distributor, SS Telecoms. VoIP is becoming prevalent around the world, especially for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) looking to upgrade their communications capabilities to be able to leverage the all that using IP has to offer including unified communications (UC), presence and a host of other collaboration capabilities.
