Sangoma has been doing well for itself lately, having recently provided VoIP gateway solutions to KBT Systems, a provider of prepaid minutes and infrastructure to telecom carriers and resellers in North America. With Sangoma’s help, KBT found a way to offer a reliable, affordable VoIP solution that can compete with the best.
KBT’s customers have tough competition from cheap international voice providers. As such, KBT needed to be able to match its opposition in both price and quality. For that, it turned to Sangoma, which combined VoIP and SIP protocol to provide a Prepaid Calling Card System made for VoIP service providers. With it, companies such as KBT can benefit from VoIP and provide quality voice services to their customers.
With the solution, KBT deployed Vega gateways, acting as remote access points to connect smaller locations to a central enlarged gateway. Through that, KBT’s customers can access all the features of VoIP, while receiving quality of service equal to any PSTN can deliver. This makes for a low-cost solution, providing profits and great service.
“We know that VoIP is quickly becoming a reality for enterprises, especially those within the telecoms industry,” says Steven Mundy, CEO of KBT Systems Corp. “Companies that stay on PSTN will not be able to compete and will very soon be left behind. Sangoma Vega gateways have enabled us to provide high quality, low cost VoIP solution to our customers, while making our own services more profitable.”
This isn’t the only news to come from Sangoma lately, as it recently helped develop a solution to help the sight-impaired use social networks, and helped InfosPalvos launch the FutureVoice On-Air solution to help radio DJs with managing calls.
With their track record for success, it’s no wonder so many groups are turning to Sangoma for their voice solutions. Its ingenuity, affordability, and quality speak volumes, and it’s a message many are hearing loud and clear.
