Janus Systems has launched a comprehensive set of prepaid, media gateway, and signaling gateway solutions addressing the large and medium-sized operator market in search of cost-effective alternatives to standard offerings.
Philip Shin, president and CEO, Janus Systems explained that their operator clients require a carrier-grade solution which can be adapted to their specific needs. The company has delivered solutions which implement custom SS7 signaling variants, or particular ISDN
signaling variants, and other solutions which require a mix of T1/E1, DS3, and VoIP interfaces to interconnect with various networks using tailor-made call routing tables.
Shin said that by leveraging TelcoBridges’ flexible telecom platform, they have been able to create customized solutions that are competitive, cost-effective and give them an edge in the market.
Janus Systems has reportedly supplied its JanusSwitch prepaid solution, JanusOne VoIP gateway, and JanusSC signaling gateway solutions to operators across the globe, including two tier 1 European operators. Leveraging TelcoBridges’ telecom platform, Janus Systems is able to offer complete solutions including its Janus Business Suite of OSS and OAM&P web-based tools to manage deployments ranging from a few T1/E1s to a full-blown 48 DS3 installation integrating VoIP and IVR.
Shin further explained that with these VoIP and TDM
offerings they have been able to easily bring to market one of the most complete and flexible portfolio of solutions for the operator market.
