Crazy Tom Has High School Flashbacks with Latest VoIP Equipment Deal

By Rich Steeves, TMCnet Copy Editor

It’s hard to imagine what a guy who calls himself “Crazy Tom” was like in high school. Was he president of the Chicken Appreciation Society? Did he learn to sew his snazzy super hero costume in Home Economics Class? Did he write a personal essay on his life goal: selling VoIP Equipment at low, low prices?

Well this week, Crazy Tom’s latest deal sends him back to those days of gym class and science labs. Tom has decided, in his infinite wisdom, to discount ClearOne (News - Alert) Chat USB speakerphones. These speakerphones, Tom claims, remind him of the omnipresent wall speakers that dominate nearly every high school classroom. He fondly remembers staring at those speakers, wishing and hoping that school would be cancelled.

“Besides being great USB speakerphones, I personally think they look like a smaller version of the speakers they had in my high school. So why not put it on your desk, stare it at it aimlessly and wait for your boss to call and tell you to take the rest of the day off,” Crazy Tom says, tongue planted firmly in cheek.

Customers can save 15 percent on selected ClearOne Chat models. One model available for the discount is the ClearOne Chat 50, a basic model which can connect to many different devices and provides clear, hands-free audio communication and playback. Also available at a discount is the ClearOne Chat 160, which is Skype (News - Alert) Certified and can be used as a small group conference phone. It can be used with VoIP softphones, web collaboration applications, instant messaging and other two-way audio applications.

Recent deals from Crazy Tom have included saving 15 percent on popular power supplies and a ten percent off deal on selected Skype products, perfect for back to school. Tom’s latest offer is available until September 20.
