VoIP Equipment Company Enters Hospitality Industry with Asterisk-based PBX Solutions

An open source, feature-rich telephony solution, the TelcoDepot PMS-bundled Asterisk-based TD2000/3000 IP-PBX phone system has been installed at hotels, lodges and resorts in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, South Africa, Mexico, Switzerland, Uruguay, The Dominican Republic, Austria, Greece, Belgium, The Netherlands, Czech Republic and other destinations.

In addition to featuring PMS interface software, Asterisk PBX, IP Phone (News - Alert) and SoftPhone, the VoIP equipment is also equipped with a MICROS-Fidelio certified Asterisk-based interface by PBillX.

Moreover, TelcoDepot also provides Asterisk-based Complete PBX Concierge standalone software. Comany officials said that it handles guest check-ins, guest phone billing, room maid service and other guest/PBX management functions.

Company officials said that the Telco Depot PMS-Integrated Asterisk-based TD2000/3000 IP-PBX system with a standalone complete PBX Concierge software solves the problem of sourcing phone system solutions that cut costs. Plus, it provides “greater flexibility and control” for hotel businesses.

Combining the best in open source PMS and PBX Interface software, the system delivers productivity and performance that is above and beyond what is feasible with a proprietary system, said company oifficials.

Additionally, the TelcoDepot TD2000/3000 IP-PBX solution supports a number of communication features such as user-defined extensions, extension groups, auto attendants, voicemail boxes, voicemail-to-email, fax-to-email, and more. Also supported are a number of competitive Asterisk-supported hospitality features.
