An Ontario-based provider of IP telephony and networking infrastructure solutions has released what company officials claim to be, “the number one VoIP Enabler solution offering risk-free, quick and easy deployment.”

 

Phybridge (News - Alert) Inc.’s “UniPhyer” not only helps companies to make the switch to VoIP without all of the increased costs or management requirements, but it has also continued to receive positive feedback from the customers who have used it.

 

During an exclusive podcast with TMCnet, John Croce, Phybridge’s CEO, detailed two specific customer success stories to validate the UniPhyer’s capabilities.

 

The first success story, what Croce notes as being, “The Tale of Two Deployments,” highlights a large Canadian institution with multiple subsidiaries.

 

One of the subsidiaries, who used the method of converging voice onto the data network and went through the process of putting the cabling in place and replacing their existing data switches with POE-enabled switches and then converging their voice and data network, found that while users loved the application during the pilot deployment, there were many voice quality challenges and the voice component just was not reliable.

 

Another one of the subsidiaries chose the Phybridge UniPhyer for their deployment and with a pilot that included 40 users on 3 different floors, had a seamless and successful experience, and have been using the deployment ever since without a single dropped call or voice quality issue.

 

This is something that’s “unheard of in the industry” Croce notes, but because the UniPhyer leverages the proven point-to-point topology that was built for voice, “It’s that kind of experience that our customers are having.”

 

That subsidiary is now looking to proceed with full deployment while other subsidiaries are now also coming to find out how this company was able to deploy so effectively and gracefully without any issues.

 

One other customer success story Croce shared was Mohawk College, an institution in Canada that deployed several IP phones on their data network and had nothing but service calls and voice quality issues until they discovered the UniPhyer.

 

According to Croce, the institution deployed UniPhyer and moved those IP phones off the data network and after putting it into a parallel network, the voice quality was instant and all the service calls were eliminated.

 

This customer has also now decided to proceed with full deployment, Croce said. And, they are also using the UniPhyer to wire their new Greenfield building for a point-to-point topology of voice.

 

 

“That is pretty compelling message from users saying that the right way to deploy convergence, is to have a physical separate network and to do that in the most cost-effective way is to use the Phybridge UniPhyer.”
