Interactive Intelligence Hires VP to Helm Channel Development

Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert) has hired Minda Marshall, formerly of Oracle (News - Alert) and JD Edwards, as its new vice president of partner channels, the contact center solutions company announced on Thursday.
 
As vice president of partner channels, Marshall will be responsible for recruiting and managing global partners for Interactive Intelligence as well as Vonexus, the company's subsidiary that delivers solutions for the enterprise IP communications market.
 
Her addition “will be key in helping us to create a more consistent and manageable channel program as we expand our network of value-added resellers, now numbering more than 250 worldwide,” said Interactive Intelligence president and CEO, Dr. Donald E. Brown. “In particular, Minda's experience managing all aspects of partner development, from recruitment and infrastructure planning, to sales and support, brings the expertise required for us to more quickly and effectively get our products and services to market.”
 
Interactive Intelligence channel partners include distributor, systems integrator and reseller. Since January 2005, the company has added a total of 70 net new partners.
 
“As a company with an already mature and sophisticated product line serving a fast-growing industry fueled by emerging technologies such as IP telephony, Interactive Intelligence offers an incredible opportunity for me to leverage my channel experience,” Marshall said. “This foundation will help me achieve my primary objectives, which are to help grow the channel, standardize process and procedures, better map partners to product segments, and put into place the most effective solutions delivery infrastructure, from sales, implementation and self-service support, to customer satisfaction and reference programs.”
 
Prior to joining Interactive Intelligence, Marshall was director of global alliances partner services for Oracle Corp. During her 12 years with the company, she helped to expand partner membership, improve staff productivity, reduce operational costs, and increase revenue. Marshall also successfully led a team of business development and partner marketing managers for J.D. Edwards' strategic alliances with IBM (News - Alert), Deloitte Consulting, Capgemini, Accenture, BearingPoint, HP, Sun, Microsoft, and Intel (News - Alert).
