Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, PowerNet Global (News - Alert) has been a major player in the telecommunications industry for almost two decades. The multi-award winning company provides voice, data, SIP, VoIP call center and managed solutions to both commercial and residential customers all over the globe.
It was back in 1992, when PNG first opened its doors. At this time, the company specialized in long distance service. In 1996, the company made the strategic move to acquire first switch in order to become a facilities-based carrier. Then two years later, PowerNet Global acquired first VoIP switch.
Kicking off the new millennium right, the company expanded into its new facility. Through seeing ongoing success, within a 24-month time frame PNG received the prestigious Inc. 500 ranking for being one of America’s fastest growing private companies. In addition in 2004, Jill Warren became part of the PNG family, being appointed to the role of dedicated sales and service manager.
Just last year, PowerNet Global’s call center solution NetDialer won the 2011 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award. Remaining at the forefront of all cutting edge technology, PNG created NetDialer to allow outbound call centers to gain access to a solution that is cost-effective and very reliable. Complete with features including no additional cost to get the system up and running, no monthly service fees or short duration penalties, a large degree of scalability, free call back service and 24/7 local NOC (News - Alert) support; this VoIP call center solution is vital to contact centers worldwide.
"We're honored to receive this recognition for our NetDialer product," said Matt Ziebro, executive vice president of sales at PowerNet Global in a statement. "We're confident that we're providing our customers and partners with a complete solution that addresses their unique demands, offering the flexibility they need to minimize costs and potential for downtime, and we do it seamlessly so they're able to focus on their business."
Although 2012 has only just begun, PNG has completely revamped its branding for its latest vision. TMCnet has also recently reported that the company also has been awarded with the 2012 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service. "We aren’t a huge company, but we have a lot to give. Many companies have money and time, but PowerNet Global also has a lot of heart, which is evidenced by the generosity and dedication of our employees, “Bernie Stevens, president and CEO of PowerNet Global added.” I am honored to accept this award on behalf of PowerNet Global and thank Smart Business, Medical Mutual, and everyone else that make the Pillar Awards possible."
Moreover, the VoIP call center provider has big plans for this year in regards to expanding the breadth of its call center product including adding different features and functionalities to continue to support call centers as they grow and change. Also, as FCC (News - Alert) regulations are causing things to change in regards to intra/ interstate laws and the different ways the government is changing how telecom will be built, PNG will change accordingly to ensure they are in full compliance with just passed legislation. The company also will increase IP-PBX (News - Alert) sales- both hosted and premise-based, as features in the cloud allow multiple offices to connect and no longer have to dial long distance to speak to one another when located in different facilities.
