It’s been a big 2010 for VoiceXML systems provider Interact Inc., and we’re not even out of January yet.
Just a few weeks into the New Year, Interact announced two new products to add to its dynamic systems offerings: SPOTbuild and SPOTproof.
The new additions bolster the company’s portfolio as Interact’s premier VoiceXML (News - Alert)/CCXML media platform SoftSPOT helps businesses to deploy cutting-edge products and services at minimal total cost of ownership.
Despite the economy slowly pulling itself out of a recession, businesses are still looking for ways to pinch every penny they can.
“In today’s economy, carriers, service providers and enterprises alike are looking for high returns from their limited budgets,” said Greg Gissler, founder, vice president and chief technology officer of Interact.
SoftSPOT, with its high return capability, helps companies scaling back on financial obligations usually associated with TDM or PSTN networks, while still increasing operational efficiency and productivity.
As a SIP-based software media platform, SoftSPOT was designed for use in fast-paced environments. With the ability to handle hundreds of thousands of calls in an automated telephony application, agents using many forms of communications – voice dialing, operator services, conferencing, flight tracking and customer care systems – all can use Interact’s widely versatile platform.
“SPOT’s extreme flexibility delivers the ability to deploy and update telephony applications on the fly, for faster time to market and better return on investment,” Gissler said.
And with no ongoing hardware expenses, maintenance of the SoftSPOT media platform gives companies something other systems can’t compete with: scalability and affordability.
