My Social Income, previously known as InteleCom, has announced the introduction of a pair of new products called “MSI (News - Alert) Connect” and “MSI Connect BROADBAND.”

A provider of international Voice over Internet Protocol communications, My Social Income recently adopted the new corporate name to reflect the company's move to bring VoIP telephony products into the mainstream.

MSI Connect is based on a hybrid of Internet technology and local access phone numbers. It allows a caller to call from any landline or cell phone to anywhere in the world in a hassle-free and very cost effective way, the company said. The solution does not require hardware, Internet connection or technical expertise and provides a “Portable Long Distance” service for mobile users or for families without broadband Internet service to enjoy the benefits of the service as well as save on all of their calls

The second solution, MSI Connect BROADBAND, targets the customer who has existing Broadband Internet service. This product is built around products from industry leaders like Linksys and Cisco (News - Alert) and features a simple ‘plug and play’ hardware implementation.

MSI Connect BROADBAND base plan includes two telephone circuits, each with a separate dial tone. One of the circuits has an inbound number to allow incoming calls from the old, legacy telephone system and both circuits can make outgoing calls to any regular phone line in the world, at very low cost calling rates.

 

In addition, the service allows users to send and receive unlimited calls, at absolutely no cost over the IP calling network and includes a huge package of free services including caller ID, call waiting, caller ID on call waiting, voicemail, three way calling, call forwarding, call return, call transfer, do not disturb and help.

Company officials claim that MSI Connect BROADBAND can result in a cost savings of up to 80 percent on phone bills and will be offered to individuals in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Central and South America, Europe and Asia via the company's Web site.
