Ineffective collaboration and communications capabilities puts a huge strain on businesses. Losing customers over the lack of response and productivity losses from employees who aren’t armed with the tools they need to do their jobs effectively are all pain spots for business, especially smaller firms that don’t have the capital to invest in the same UC solutions as enterprises do.

Business communications leader Mitel (News - Alert) is seeking to change that in EMEA and has introduced a new MiVoice Office Mobile Application. The cloud-based tool is targeted specifically for small businesses and makes it possible to easily communicate and collaborate from anywhere.

Many of today’s office employees are on-the-go. All around the globe, they’re working from remote office locations, traveling, and in need of mobile offerings with all the same perks they have at their desk.

The new mobile-first MiVoice application from Mitel is not only easy-to-use, but comes complete with all the bells and whistles workers need to get their job done, wherever they may be, while also being more responsive to customers - which is a key differentiator for many.

With the application, which can be hosted onsite or via the cloud,  MiVoice Office 400 users gain access to business telephony, chat, presence and contact management tools. For those looking to migrate to the cloud, the company offer the application via it’s Mitel CloudLink so they can go at their own pace.

“MiVoice Office Mobile Application was designed from the ground up to address the simplicity and mobility needs of small businesses,” said Martin Bitzinger (News - Alert), Vice President, Unified Communications Products and Solutions, Mitel. “Much more than a mobile extension, this application is an entire business phone and collaboration tool in the palm of their hand, allowing mobile or deskless workers to gain efficiency, and providing small businesses with a smooth path to the cloud.”
