VoiceBase announced it has partnered with the Xmedius-acquired Applied Voice & Speech Technologies (AVST (News - Alert)). The partnership will help propel AVST’s feature-rich CX-E with the companies offering secure messaging to enterprises from healthcare to education and government.

CX-E is a complete UC package, bringing data and voice directly to the cloud. Included in its UC offerings are voice messaging, unified messaging, mobile client, personal assistant, automated attendant, IVR, call center, fax and notification. This is where VoiceBase comes in as, all voicemails will be transcribed and sent to users, along with the original voice messages.

“VoiceBase is excited to deliver enterprise-grade voice services with a reliable and proven partner like AVST,” commented Jay Blazensky, Co-founder & CRO of VoiceBase. “We’ve worked together to deliver a solution that meets their customer’s needs for regulations, security restrictions, accuracy expectations and speed of results. AVST provides the ideal framework for VoiceBase to layer on its speech analytics API to unlock fast and accurate voicemail-to-text for the enterprise.”

CX-E enables employees to retrieve voicemails regardless of their location or status – whether they are at their desks, in a meeting, on a conference call or interacting with clients. This enhances productivity by never missing a call, especially if it is urgent, with the ability to increase response time.

AVST’s Unified Communications (News - Alert) platform has been deployed in airlines, colleges, government agencies, and North American hospitals. Over 70 percent of its client base consists of medium to large businesses.

“After testing various speech-to-text vendors in the market, VoiceBase was a leader in accuracy, speed and cost - all imperative components that allows us to offer best-of-breed voicemail-to-text services to our customers,” said Tom Minifie (News - Alert), AVST General Manager. "We’re excited to partner with VoiceBase as they continually innovate their technology and provide a platform that is reliable and scalable for enterprises.”

VoiceBase’s momentum got a kick start when it was named both Judges’ and Audience (News - Alert) Choice winner at ITEXPO, when Blazensky first presented the company’s product to a standing room only crowd at IDEA Showcase back in January 2016 in Ft. Lauderdale. Since then, it’s been full speed ahead.
