Clarity (News - Alert), the developer of Clarity Connect, works to deliver premier products and solutions that leverage Lync and Skype for Business as a communication platform. Clarity Connect is a contact center solution built exclusively and natively for Skype (News - Alert) for Business. As a native application to Skype for Business, Clarity Connect can add functionality to the program without duplicating or complicating infrastructure or call control. It is successfully being used in a variety of industries, and generally makes the whole experience easier. For these reasons, Gartner (News - Alert) has identified Clarity Connect as a representative vendor in the Skype for Business contact center industry in their recent report: Market Guide for Microsoft (News - Alert) Skype for Business Contact Center Partners.

This report gives the Skype for Business contact center industry an authoritative source of information for selecting vendors. This information includes how they are built for or connect to Skype for Business. The report also defines what it means to be "native," "integrated" and "connected," what the benefits are, and which providers actually provide such solutions. So, being mentioned in this report is a big deal for Clarity Connect because they are now viewed by readers as a legitimate, Gartner-approved solution.

Clarity Connect falls into the category of “native,” according to Gartner’s definition which states that native contact centers offer a host of benefits. These benefits often include stability, ease of maintenance, ease of use and employee mobility and, most important, full access to presence, IM and screen sharing. These are all essential features in Gartner’s eyes because they make internal collaboration for helpdesk use cases much easier.

Needless to say, Clarity Connect is thrilled to have been recognized as a representative vendor in the Skype for Business contact center industry. “We are excited that Gartner listed Clarity Connect as an offering in the Skype for Business contact center industry,” said Jon Rauschenberger, CTO at Clarity. “Years ago, we invented the first native contact center product for Lync, and have long known Skype for Business is a great platform for contact centers. It's great to finally see substantive research published for this growing and important market.”
