Consumers today have a wide range of options when it comes to interacting with businesses, and each touch point is an opportunity for companies to gather information that could help in improving the organization. Bringing the resources of each interaction together is now made possible with CRM, but even that can get complicated because of the many different platforms available in the marketplace. A new partnership between Phone.com (News - Alert) and Callinize will offer a solution that will help organizations manage their business relationships and the data that is associated with those interactions.

Phone.com was established in 2007 to deliver a wide range of business communication services which was previously out of the range of small businesses. By leveraging digital technology and the VoIP industry experiences of its founders, the company has moved forward by integrating smart mobile devices and cloud-based phone systems with a platform that seamlessly connects every device in your business with a unified phone presence.

With this partnership, it will be using the integration capabilities of Callinize with your CRM to provide an affordable solution which was previously only available to large enterprises.

Callinize built its own integration system so businesses didn’t have to switch their phone systems or purchase expensive enterprise software packages to make this possible. The company made the solution available in an open source platform with a browser user interface to further increase its availability for a wider audience.

With Callinize and Phone.com, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, SugarCRM (News - Alert), Infusionsoft, Microsoft Dynamics, Insightly and Close.io are integrated to automatically log calls, track relationships, follow-up task creation and call analytics. Whenever you talk to your phone service, you are automatically logged in your CRM. This integration helps you manage your business relationships as well as the data that is associated with each communication.

The system uses Callinize to recognize every number on every page so you can click to dial whenever you are online. By initiating each call with context, a Callinize pop-up on your screen gives you the information about who you’re calling and the details of your last discussion with that person. It can also be used to create contacts and leads from the pop-ups, so you will have pertinent information when they call you, so you know who it is immediately. The platform logs call duration, direction of the call (inbound or outbound) and the user of the person making or receiving the call.

For small businesses, having a solution that integrates their phone system and CRM solution means not forgetting names, company information and details of every interaction.
