LiveOffice Ranked "Excellent" in Forrester's Cloud-Based Message Archiving Report

LiveOffice, a global provider of cloud-based e-mail archiving, e-mail compliance, discovery and continuity solutions, announced that it received the very good to excellent ratings in six categories in Forrester Research’s (News - Alert) Market Overview: Message Archiving Software-As-A-Service, Q3 2011 report.


The cloud-based e-mail company received "excellent" in message capture, mailbox management, supervision, scalability, security, and vendor and operational considerations from Forrester. Forrester also gave “very good” ratings for its range of content types supported, search and migration.

"LiveOffice's SaaS (News - Alert)-based offering provides rich archiving and compliance functionality and merits a good position on enterprise short lists. LiveOffice has strong, strategically significant partnerships with major technology vendors, including Symantec (News - Alert) and Salesforce.com," Forrester noted.

Through the rating, Forrester recognized the importance of the cloud-based message archiving industry.

"We have always believed that listening to our customers, anticipating future compliance and archiving needs, and providing solutions before the market demands them is what makes us an industry leader in cloud-based message archiving," said Nick Mehta, chief executive officer, LiveOffice, in a statement.

LiveOffice is tapping a big market opportunity as organizations are implementing SaaS-based message archiving. LiveOffice grew its customer-base to more than 20,000 clients and with a 97 percent client retention rate.

Recently, the company announced the launch of LiveOffice Outlook Email Connector for Salesforce, an app to integrate Outlook e-mail with Salesforce.com (News - Alert), and LiveOffice Archive for Chatter, the first-ever archiving solution for Chatter posts, a social media function of Salesforce.

The new app offers a complete view of all e-mail, attachments and Chatter posts associated with an Account, Contact, Lead or Opportunity in Salesforce.com. User intervention, plug-ins or additional storage fees are however not required. For a limited time, the new app will be offered for free.
