Intelligent's Virtual Office - A Response to Changing Work Paradigms?

By Mini Swamy, TMCnet Contributor

Independence Day may be just round the corner, but the mobilocracy workforce had reason to celebrate another kind of liberation with Intelligent Office (News - Alert) opening its virtual office in San Francisco on June 14th.

The fully operational virtual office is in response to the changing paradigm of fixed work places and the life styles of today's workforce, said company officials.

A recent survey by Intelligent Office bears this out as over 50 percent of survey respondents expressed the desire to remove themselves from the shackles of brick and mortar office buildings that spelt fixed working hours and a cramped work-life balance.

The concept of virtual office and the availability of technology to make it happen is perhaps the best thing that could have happened to a largely mobile-oriented workforce that believes in flexibility.

"The opening of our new office means that the Bay Area's entrepreneurial and professional community now has access to invaluable resources that promote a greater variety of work style options," said Wilson Tandiono, president and CEO at Intelligent Office, San Francisco.

Of course, there are other advantages too, for virtual office solutions aided by the right tools help save on overhead costs and increase the ability to work professionally from just about anywhere. Tandiono summed it up very well by saying, “Work is something you do, not a place where you have to be."

Also, the solutions are capable of scaling along with a business' needs and can be used at any phase of the business. A huge plus point is that clients pay only for what they actually use.

So, will Intelligent's virtual office make people work smarter and quicker? Just bide your time.
