Sentillion, a company that specializes in virtual call center and other remote-access solutions, released Monday highlights of its performance during the third quarter of 2007. The company did well during this period, adding six new single sign-on (SSO)/virtualized remote access customers to its base of 34 clients, bringing live users of Sentillion solutions to more than 335,000.
Across Sentillion’s four product lines (including its single sign-on expreSSO solution), expansion of the company’s relationships with existing and new clients translated to 85,100 new user licenses.
The company’s identity and access management (IAM) solutions are widely deployed in the healthcare industry, and are now in daily use by more than 525 hospitals in North America and the UK.
During the past six month, Sentillion landed several IAM solution deals with healthcare organizations including Berkshire Health Services in Massachusetts, Hendrick Health System in Texas, Norton Healthcare in Kentucky and Portsmouth Hospital NHS Trust in the UK.
Also, the company was listed in two Gartner (News - Alert) Magic Quadrant reports published during 3Q07—Visionaries (for its healthcare-specific proVision solution) and Challengers (for its Enterprise Single Sign-on solution).
“What pleases me most about our performance is that it directly correlates to our success in bringing healthcare organizations live on an enterprise scale and our reputation as the safest, lowest risk choice in the industry,” said Paul Roscoe, president of Sentillion, in a statement.
Roscoe continued: “We firmly believe that the technology challenges faced by the healthcare industry are unique, which is why we view the 335,000 caregivers using our technology and our support for over 500 clinical and business applications, as the real measurement of our leadership position.”
