IneoQuest (News - Alert) Technologies, Inc., a provider of video quality assurance and network intelligence, announced the launch of IQDialogue ASM, a Quality of Service (QoS) probe for adaptive streaming video networks.
IneoQuest offers an array of software, probing technology, and professional services solutions aimed at improving the video quality and delivery of video.
With growing demand of video content over the Internet, providers need to create a reliable, high-quality experience. Adaptive streaming technologies allow an optimum viewing experience of high quality video streamed over large distributed HTTP networks across a diverse range of fixed and mobile devices on a broad set of connection speeds.
IQDialogue ASM (News - Alert) is a next-generation probe used to monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot adaptive streaming protocols and networks. It simplifies operational complexities. IQDialogue ASM is a plug and play probe that automatically identifies all the adaptive streaming protocols, provides information and metrics on the overall service delivery platform in a simple format.
“Adaptive Streaming is being deployed at an accelerating rate as content and service providers attempt to expand services and reach new customers with internet and mobile video,” stated Kirk George, Director of Marketing at IneoQuest.
“Companies need to monitor for an entirely new set of video quality impairments when using adaptive streaming. IneoQuest is the only solutions provider with a real-time video quality assurance platform that addresses these challenges,” George added.
The probe provides publishing monitoring to ensure the assets are delivered correctly to the origin servers. It passively monitors the content delivery from the origin server to the client end device, offering QoS metrics and key performance indicators of the control plane and client sessions.
IQDialogue ASM allows users to measure the performance of the service, per user-session metrics and diagnostics, and many other parameters for quick and accurate performance review and fault identification and isolation.
