In an effort to give attendees a taste of what will be covered in the upcoming SIP Trunking seminar we decided to engage several of the featured participating speakers in a brief Q&A to get their insights into why people should attend this seminar, what the benefits of SIP Trunking are, and who might benefit from this technology, as well as a high-level view of what opportunities SIP Trunking might provide in this uncertain economy.

 

Don Gant (News - Alert), VP Channel Marketing/Business Development, Iwatsu Voice Networks will participate in a panel discussion entitled The Enterprise Infrastructure. We asked Gant to share his thoughts ahead of the event.

 

 

DG: This event will educate the attendee on the benefits of this viable alternative to analog and digital trunking. There is definitely a positive return on investment for SIP trunk technology but like most new technology, there are pitfalls that can be avoided with the proper upfront education

 

DG: We will demonstrate the ease at which a SIP trunk can be deployed in a live demonstration. Additionally we will provide useful insight into the hardware requirements needed for the successful deployment of SIP trunks.

DG: Companies that have the requirement for PRI trunks can typically benefit from SIP trunks. SIP trunks provide easy and cost effective way of connecting multiple offices and provide companies with a very cost effective way of growing and adding trunk capacity in a cost effective manner.

 

DG: Absolutely! As the economy struggles and companies look for ways of cutting cost while at the same time increasing their productivity, SIP trunks provide a ready and viable solution.
