Comverse (News - Alert) will be hosting its Content Marketing Seminar in Vienna, Austria at the Renaissance Wien Hotel on October 27–28, 2008. This conference is a joint seminar of two Comverse groups: the Fun Dial and MobileAd Product Units.
The day and a half long event will bring together customers, analysts and Comverse experts for some high level discussions regarding marketing issues faced by operators in regard to their Ringback Tone (RBT) and Mobile Advertising services.
The agenda will feature several case studies from various operators and content providers in order to increase awareness and accelerate deployment of Comverse’s ringback tones and mobile advertising services.
The free seminar will also feature a keynote presentation from renowned author Chetan Sharma, entitled Introduction to Mobile Advertising.
Sharma, who has recently authored the book, Mobile Advertising: Supercharge Your Brand in the Exploding Wireless Market will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing operators and how they can leverage the buzz that surrounds mobile advertising.
Some of the questions Sharma will address in his presentation include:
· How do you take the next step in transforming the buzz into real, long-term sustainable business?
· What’s unique about the mobile and what’s the best way to leverage its strength?
· What are the key success parameters?
· What have some of the leading success stories been?
· How do operators plan to exploit this new medium?
· Where is the industry headed and what’s the future of mobile advertising?
Sharma is a recognized industry expert in the wireless industry, and served as an advisor to senior executive management of several Fortune 100 companies in the wireless space.
The program on the first day of the Content Marketing Seminar will also feature a case study presented by George Papadakis of AMC Albania. AMC has deployed ringback tones successfully in Albania, and Papdakis’ speech will center on the highlights and characteristics of the RBT solution, and focus on some of the operational and marketing activities that led to the successful implementation by AMC.
Day 1 concludes with the following sessions:
· Evolution to a Scalable and Open RBT Platform
· Leveraging the Mobile Content Off-Deck Ecosystem for Promoting RBTs
· Ringback Tones: New and Attractive Revenue Stream for Content Players
The second conference day will feature more content dedicated to the mobile advertising space, with sessions like Mobile Advertising: New Revenue Streams for Operators; Israel’s Mobile Operators Experience in the Mobile Advertising Arena; Designing Campaigns for the Mobile: the Advertiser Perspective; and Creative approach to Mobile Advertising, with speakers from We Love Mobile, UK,Turkcell (News - Alert), Mobi (mobile marketing agency of Israel) and MTV Europe.
Comverse will also be in attendance at the FutureCom event in Brazil at the TransAmerica Expo Center in Sao Paolo next week (October 27–30).
