ITEXPO East: Reducing IT Costs with VoIP Strategies
January 19, 2010
By Erin Harrison, Executive Editor, Cloud Computing
As companies look to reduce IT and telecom expenses, there has been an increasing focus on IT total ownership costs.
According to industry experts, VoIP-based call recording technologies offer a significant opportunity to lower operating costs associated with call recording, while providing an easier path to increasing service quality and regulatory compliance. This topic will be explored during the “Reducing IT Costs with VoIP Recording Strategies” session at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East in Miami, being held from Jan. 20 to Jan. 22.
The VoIP call recording platforms available today leverage centralization, consolidation, virtualization and standardization strategies that allow IT departments to lower their total ownerships costs while maintaining, or even improving, the levels of service they provide.
The session will be moderated by TMC’s Tom Keating, vice president and chief technology officer. Panelists include: Brian Spraetz, senior solutions consultant of NICE Systems (News - Alert); Craig McCue, worldwide director of sales of OrecX; and and Jonathan Fuld, chief technology officer of SIP Print.
