Enterprise Mobile unveiled its global telecom expense management (TEM) services which will help businesses control costs and simplify in-house mobile management.
A business unit of Intermec (News - Alert) Technologies Corporation, Enterprise Mobile specializes in providing comprehensive mobility managed services. The new services will be available as a part of Enterprise Mobile’s suite of mobile device deployment, helpdesk, device depot and MDM enablement services.
Jay Gordon, Vice President at Enterprise Mobile said, “Our clients turn to us because we can support their mobility initiatives, regardless of the mobile device types or operating system platforms they are using.”
Also available as a standalone service, Enterprise Mobile’s TEM service will help in actively managing the full mobile communications lifecycle including automating inventory, expense management, ordering, procurement and fulfillment.
As the number of corporate and individual-liable devices has increased phenomenally there is a need for telecom departments to implement comprehensive mobile expense management (MEM) solutions. These will help centrally manage, track and optimize expenses in step with corporate policies.
According to analysts about 80 percent of telecom bills have errors. This can be reduced by streamlining procurement and fulfillment processes besides also optimizing monthly mobile expenses by using cloud-based applications. In this case Enterprise Mobile can enable savings in telecom services fees by 10-30 percent, said officials.
“The introduction of our Global TEM services offers a way for companies to standardize mobility deployments across multiple geographies. We’re looking forward to helping customers solve the problem of consistent ordering and fulfillment processes, lack of visibility into spend patterns and overspending on wireless carrier service,” said Gordon.
Enterprise Mobile offers to customers a full set of mobility managed services such as mobile device deployment, 24x7x365 helpdesk, device replacement and warranty management and mobile device management (MDM) software enablement and administration covering over 400,000 mobile devices.
