Teligistics (News - Alert), a private Texas corporation and provider of enterprise-level telecom cost control solution tools, claimed that as of now its total contract value procured on behalf of client companies is more than $7 billion.
The company asserted that it acts as a source for large enterprise procurement of complex global voice, data and technology related contracts. The company can seamlessly attain outstanding results leveraging the necessary technology, subject domain expertise, experience and market data and ensure that its clients receive “best-in-class” contracts.
In 2011, Teligistics launched Telibid, an online eProcurement tool that can be used by enterprises to publish an RFP (request for pricing/proposal) online via customizable telecom templates. It is imperative for provider to structure a telecom RFP appropriately if it seeks a world-class contract and Telibid makes telecom sourcing simple. It also includes an optional state-of-the-art reverse auction format.
Teligistics explained that even as technology and communications services’ cost go down over time, large enterprises are often stuck with ballooning telecom budgets caused by factors that elude specifics. This is because average telecom cost per employees is exploding with the primary culprit being wireless mobility and rate of telecom consumption is outpacing the natural downward trend of technology in the marketplace.
Dave Roberts, CEO and founder of Teligistics said, “Telibid is the next generation of sourcing tools for enterprise-level telecom users. The design was based on the subject matter expertise we have assembled from sourcing thousands of large and complex global telecom contracts. Our methodology for analyzing telecom provider rate plans, for which we received a U.S. Patent in 2005, is the basis for the financial analysis reports that are created from the RFP bidder responses. Teligistics clearly continues to be the market leader for this type of in-depth analysis.”
