RxT is a test platform that caters to the problems of communication service providers to increase efficiency and productivity while lowering operational and capital expenditures. Mobile service providers using the latest technology to cater to an increasing amount of complex products have high expectations for the backhaul connections. Developing backhaul links for these services is still a problem as network operators transition from legacy backhaul circuits to advanced ethernet-supported capabilities.
Recently, Sunrise Telecom (News - Alert) added testing capabilities for IPv6, 10G SONET/SDH, VoIP, and copper to its award-winning RxT Smart Productivity Test Platform. The company has added IPv6 testing abilities to the RxT 10GE module. This ability facilitates customers to transfer their networks from IPv4 to IPv6 and perform the same layer 2/3 service activation tests in IPv6-based networks.
“We continue to expand the capabilities of our award-winning RxT Smart Productivity Platform, the RxT is continuing to gain favor from communications service providers industry-wide," explained Bahaa Moukadam (News - Alert), CEO of Sunrise Telecom. "The modular design of this feature-rich connected platform provides our customers with a single platform that supports existing legacy networks as well as new and future network technologies. The RxT enables our customers to reduce capital expenditures while improving the service, efficiency and productivity of the field personnel.”
Clubbed with the RxT SDH/SONET module, the new RxT TEN Module facilitates the RxT platform to provide full PDH/SDH/SONET functionality, up to 10G from DS1/E1 to STM-64/OC-192 in a single platform, the company stated in a press release.
Recently, TMC’s (News - Alert) Nathesh reported that the company’s new packetWORX suite of test and monitoring solutions combines the power of server-based monitoring and field analysis application to assist system operators and quickly implement, maintain and troubleshoot IPTV (News - Alert) networks which in turn enhances the ability of field technicians and reduces operational expenses. The company’s new suite includes server-based packetWORX IPTV monitoring and at-the-premise troubleshooting application analyzer.
