Avema (News - Alert), a provider of telecom and wireless expense management and optimization solutions, announced a partnership with Breakaway Services, which helps organizations manage telecommunications services, assets and expenses, to use Avema’s software for delivering telecom expense management (TEM) to its clients.
Breakaway Services will use Avema’s Advanced Vendor Management (AVM) software to offer advanced reporting and analytics, as well as better self-service functionality.
Earlier the company was using software from multiple providers, which increased complexity of the process. Avema’s AVM provides all telecom services in one solution, enabling the company to deliver a more stream-lined approach to TEM. The solution streamlines multiple vendor billing into one standard format, so users can manage all telecom costs from the same application.
“Breakaway has looked at many different TEM software platforms over the years. AVM’s level of automation is far more advanced than any other TEM software that we have considered,” said Ric Reifel, CEO of Breakaway, in a statement.
Avema’s AVM system offers capabilities to manage voice, data and wireless processes and costs by consolidating all telecommunications data in one place. Companies can manage costs and inventory from any Web browser. As a result, they gain control over their vendors, inventory and expenses.
Officials at Breakaway said they are moving all of their clients to Avema’s AVM platform, so that they all benefit from Avema’s telecom expense management solution.
“Breakaway is committed to providing high value to our customers with any product or service we provide,” said Reifel. “We carefully select our partners and only join together with those who consider high-quality and high-value as critical as we do. Avema’s dedication to client service matches our own.” Earlier in October, Avema announced a partnership with Echoworx (News - Alert), a provider of credential management and managed encryption services, to integrate Echoworx’s recently launched mobilEncrypt Endpoint solutions for mobile to its mobile device management (MDM) offerings.
