AOTMP, the authority on standards and best practices for telecom management, has announced its plans to host a virtual conference and trade show for the TEM industry on September 24.
This virtual conference,virtualtem2008, will be a first-ever and will provide the telecom expense management industry with a free event they can access online.
AOTMP said the online conference will be a one day event that will focus on standards and best practices for managing an enterprise telecom and IT environment. In addition, the online conference will include educational presentations, interactive question and answer sessions, and live panel discussions led by industry experts and thought leaders in telecom environment management.
"The online event will be a great compliment to our annual TEM conference. It will enable enterprise end users to learn about best practices in educational sessions and presentations, and explore solution offerings in the exhibitor showcase, just as if they were attending an in-person event," said Tim Lybrook, AOTMP CEO.
Like an in-person conference, attendees will be able to interact one-on-one with other conference attendees and exhibitors during the virtual conference. This will make it possible for attendees to leverage the same benefits as traditional conferences offer including the ability to meet with others in the field to exchange ideas and learn about new technologies and solutions.
Pre-registration is now available and is open to anyone involved with operational, financial, and logistical processes for enterprise telecom and IT assets and services.
AOTMP is currently hosting TEM 2008, an educational and networking event for telecom and IT end users in Orlando, Florida. The event provides an inside look at the issues and challenges faced by enterprise end users as well as solutions for TEM strategy plans.
Also at the conference, AOTMP is offering five different Specialty Certification programs that include 6 hours of training and an online certification exam in the areas of Technology Selection, Wireless Management, Inventory Development, Telecom Management Strategies, and Contract Negotiations.
