Kalsoft, a Microsoft (News - Alert) Gold Certified Partner and system integrator, announced it has signed an agreement with Church & Crawford, a mobile phone software solutions company, to deploy and sell Church & Crawford's solutions in the African market.

A Premier Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Kalsoft delivers state-of-the-art solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The system integrator develops and implements solutions for multi sector organizations such as banks, hospitals, universities, military and telecoms.

Church & Crawford has developed Orexis technology that provides computer telephony Integration (CTI (News - Alert)) software for mobile phones. It enables users to interact with contact centers and get the issues resolved quickly.

 Africa, in particular Kenya, is the fastest growing mobile phone market in the world. In the beginning of 2000, Kenya had only 15,000 mobile phone subscribers. By the end of 2004, the number peaked to 3.4 million subscribers, and in the last 18 months this number has grown to over 5.6 million.

However, the sudden growth in the number of mobile phone users poses a challenge to mobile phone companies. They are facing pressure to keep the costs down while also providing excellent customer service to customers. Church & Crawford’s solutions are designed to address the concerns of mobile phone companies. It offers affordable mobile computing technologies suitable for this market.  With Orexis, companies can provision and manage "infinite" number of mobiles devices.

Recently Church & Crawford announced its revenue model based on consultation with major global business consultants.

Based on a transactional model, the EMPS+ revenue model allows System Integrators (SIs) to give the software platform to their clients free of charge. This will reduce the sales cycle and de-risk and investment ROI analysis that a service provider will need to complete.
