Speech technology provider Loquendo announced that Adobe Captivate 5, the eLearning authoring tool from Adobe, is now enhanced with Loquendo (News - Alert) Text-to-Speech technology in English, French and German.

 

With this partnership, Captivate 5 enables courseware designers to add Loquendo's natural and fluent synthetic speech in three new languages for the generation of rich, multilingual eLearning content. Academicians can include software demonstrations, interactive simulations, branching scenarios, and quizzes, with no programming required.

 

Featuring an intuitive user interface and a number of features, Adobe Captivate 5 empowers users to deliver highest quality, multilingual, speech-enabled course content virtually anywhere, according to company officials. The software is available for both Mac and Windows. 

 

Loquendo TTS is a natural sounding synthetic speech engine known for the clarity of its voices, ease of integration and market leading voice/language portfolio, according to company officials.

 

Recently Loquendo announced the addition of Arabic language in its synthetic speech software, TMCnet reported. The software now supports more than 30 different languages popular in the world.

 

Loquendo TTS supports both desktop and server operating systems, such as: Windows, Mac OS and several Linux flavors. In addition, Loquendo TTS is available for all major mobile and embedded platforms.
