In response to a growing demand for their speech technologies in the U.K., Loquendo (News - Alert)has announced the opening of a new office in central London that will provide the company with a permanent presence in the U.K.
The new London office, located at 14-16 Regent Street, is not the company's first office in Europe - Loquendo offices are already established in Madrid, Munich and Paris.

tion itself in preparation for the market's recovery.'
The company has also announced it is participating in the upcoming SpeechTEK Europe show in London and will be on site to present the company's technologies for attendees.
Currently available in 70 voices and 28 languages, Loquendo's text-to-speech 'TTS' technologies are deployed in contact centers, mobile navigation systems, iPhone (News - Alert)apps, eBook readers and more.
Last month, the company announced it reappointed Davide Franco (News - Alert)as the company's CEO and Chairman of the Board for a second term in acknowledgement of Franco's successful steering of the company over the previous two years.
