As interactive speech is being integrated into more and more applications, the need for creation solutions that combine all needed tools and are easy to use becomes necessary.
To fill this need, three providers: VoxPilot, Speech Village and Loquendo, have come together to combine their areas of expertise to offer service developers and application designers a faster, more cost efficient way to bring interactive voice services to market. With a solution that allows users of any skill level to create advanced speech applications with ease.
The solution, Silver Bullet, is an easy to integrate platform and allows the deployment of quality apps as well as smooth migration from single DTMF to advanced speech applications, a news release noted.
VoxPliot's VoiceXML IVR
server which offers IMS-ready VoiceXML and Video-in-VoiceXML technology works together with Speech Village's Speech Draw development tool which provides a service creation environment that is graphical and rules-based as well as Loquendo's speech recognition and Text to Speech Technologies that offer natural sounding voice and expressive prompts for any application, to create Silver Bullet.
According to a news release Silver Bullet supports both ISDN and Voice over IP
(SIP), telecom interconnects. And the integrated AudioCodes (News - Alert) gateway provides E1/T1 connectivity to the PSTN
. It is available in configurations of 12 and 24 ports in a single box and is expandable to thousands of ports.
Loquendo also announced that their speech technologies are now interoperable with PIKA Technologies' (News - Alert) Digital T1/E1 PrimeNet MM boards, via Paraxip PSTN-to-SIP
Gateway (News - Alert) software.
PIKA's Boards provide voice processing, echo cancellation and speech detection and are available in multiple densities. These options will now be available to Loquendo's clients to improve their creation process. Through the partnership, system integrators and service developers can better create voice services and automation features as well as Unified Messaging
and infomobility solutions
