Acapela voices, offering speech empowering e-learning programs for e-doceo , a French producer of e-learning software, is vocally animating e-doceo media store. The web portal allows e-doceo's customers to personally drive their media creation, including the production of voice files.
e-doceo media store is an on-line solution available 24/7, allowing the ordering of customized multimedia resources via an on-line platform. Files vocalized by Acapela voices and 3D animation are downloadable from the customer's account.
e-doceo media store uses Acapela Voice as a Service (Acapela VaaS) to vocalize written content in real time. Acapela VaaS is a “cloud computing” solution for providing on-line vocalization. e-doceo connects to the Acapela VaaS server for the information to be vocalized, and then the server transforms the text into speech.
“With e-doceo mediastore, we are inventing a new model, providing online creation resources that allow our customers to be reactive while controlling their budget. Acapela VaaS solution emerged as the best solution on the market. It is perfectly in line with the development of our platform and provides a voice repertoire that has been enthusiastically employed by our customers on multilingual or extensive programs,” stated Jerome Bruet, e-doceo's general manager.
“e-doceo is already using our text to speech voices for its core products. The evolution towards the online mode, with the production of voice files via Acapela VaaS, confirms this leading player's faith in our online solution and the ever-growing importance of vocal solutions at the heart of e-learning programs”' said Antoine Kauffeisen, Acapela group marketing director.
Speech synthesis allows learning units to be developed in several languages and is animated with natural sound. All written information relating to the e-learning course is converted into voice. With Cantoche's avatars, partner of Acapela Group (News - Alert), audio content is translated to speech animating characters.
In other news, Acapela Group recently announced that it has been selected by Babylon, the world's leading provider of language solutions, to speech empower Babylon 9. Acapela natural tones will support millions of Babylon users worldwide with pleasant audio pronunciation of a searched word, to optimize the translation process and language learning.
