SoftInventive Labs Launches New Software Management Solution

SoftInventive Lab, an international provider of software licensing solutions for corporate networking, recently announced a brand new version of its Total Network Inventory platform. Total Network Inventory 3 is a software management solution that allows for near seamless license discovery on a company’s desired network. The platform works to provide detailed software licensing info while also revealing any compatibility issues.

The software licensing and asset management tools make it that much easier for an IT staff to track and manage any software that might be installed on a company’s network. One added bonus is that Total Network Inventory 3 also allows these IT professional to create inventory reports that can then be quickly and easily displayed to whoever might want to see them.

One of the big additions to this particular edition of the software licensing inventory suite is that it offers brand new ways in which to monitor and check network inventory. IT users can now scan single nodes, network address ranges and Active Directory Infrastructures. Once the inventory has been checked and double checked through a variety of different systems, the reports can then be generated using a variety of different data points. These reports can also be copied, exported and printed, in order to make it that much easier to present them to people who may not have access to the software itself.

The additional benefit of being able to create these reports is that it will actually allow those who are doing the monitoring to add in different comments and the like in order to keep better track of what is going on. This means that if a report is not actually containing as much information as the IT professional would like, he can add in the info, without changing the report’s findings in order to make it simpler to understand.
