Social collaboration makes it convenient for enterprises to take effective business decisions on the basis of feedback and results they receive from various communities. By integrating social collaboration with business intelligence, they can considerably enhance the overall decision making process to achieve better results.
iQ for Business, a provider of advanced business intelligence (BI) systems for small- and mid-sized companies, has announced it will include the enterprise social collaboration features of Neudesic Pulse (News - Alert), an enterprise social software solution, within its offerings.
Both companies entered a new partnership at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, according to which iQ for Business will now integrate these features within its BI systems.
A vast number of resources have played a vital role in the regular generation of a huge amount of information in the form of data, which makes it challenging for the BI systems developers to streamline the process of making business-related decisions on the basis of this data.
Combining the enterprise social collaboration software solutions with enhanced BI systems, enterprises in a number of sectors can take data driven decisions rapidly by interacting with their employee, partner and customer communities and by following the key metrics to take appropriate steps.
Neudesic Pulse enterprise social software will now integrate with iQ for Business’ BI systems, allowing its customers to leverage the benefits of the rich social features of Neudesic Pulse. They can now establish seamless collaboration within various departments, geographies and job descriptions through a single point of reference.
iQ for Business and Neudesic Pulse have been successfully working as Microsoft (News - Alert) partners for a long time; the new partnership will allow them to utilize their proven capability in establishing integration with various Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Lync and Office.
“Typically, business intelligence reports are created and shared via email or in a weekly meeting, but those forums don’t allow for ongoing collaboration or communication about the findings,” commented Ray Major, president and chief operating officer at iQ for Business. “Meetings end without questions getting fully answered. E-mail threads become long, unfocused, irrelevant, and, in some cases, ignored. By embedding Neudesic Pulse enterprise social collaboration software into our business intelligence systems, we help customers break down barriers to get the most out of their information and act on that insight.”
In June 2012, iQ for Business and Cenium announced a strategic partnership to begin delivering integrated BI for Cenium’s enterprise resource planning services for the hospitality industry. Under the partnership, iQ’s BI software platform will integrate with Cenium’s hotel and resort management system to provide advanced operations reporting, analytics and management dashboards to Cenium customers.
