The general availability of CDC gomembers Social Community and Mobile Membership applications have been announced by CDC Software (News - Alert) Corporation. The applications will help in creating private online communities. Users’ computers or mobile devices can be used to access these communities. Collaboration between non-profit organizations and their membership and constituents can be therefore improved. Enterprise and association management solutions for non-profit and membership-based organization are offered by CDC gomembers.
Organizations can flexibly control the look and content to their online communities with CDC gomembers Social Community application. Direct access within the gomembers association management system or AMS is provided for these online communities. A secure online community to conduct association business can be offered by organizations to their members and constituents. Group discussions, blogging, job boards, events and photos among others can be used by the organizations to connect/collaborate with their staff and with one another.
Popular social media sites like Facebook (News - Alert), LinkedIn, and Twitter etc have direct integrations with CDC gomembers Social Community. The social community home page can display Twitter feeds and Facebook and LinkedIn (News - Alert) profiles which have been linked by an organization's membership. Crowdsourcing ideas for spreading awareness about key issues, raise funds, mobilize supporters can be also promoted by an association’s membership.
iPhone, Blackberry and Android (News - Alert) mobile devices can be used to access the CDC gomembers Social Community application, with the Mobile Membership application.

The social media capabilities in our application can help associations grow since it engages and inspires their members and supporters through exchange of new ideas, participation in shared discussions, communication of events, advocacy movements, feedback, experiences, progress and personal stories."
According to Plaia, non-profit organizations will be able to form vibrant, collaborative and effective membership community relationships with these new products. Non-profit associations will be also able to control costs and increase revenue opportunities with the powerful gomembers association management application.
