4PSA Revamps Discussion Group on LinkedIn

By Carolyn J Dawson, TMCnet Contributor

The online discussion group of 4PSA on LinkedIn (News - Alert) has been revamped. The group has been renamed as The Social Unified Communications Group. An announcement in this regard has been made by the top-edge Cloud Computing software development company, 4PSA.

The group was previously known as VoipNow. 4PSA's award-winning Unified Communications (News - Alert) solution is the basis for creating and shaping the group. The exchange of information, ideas, and insights on the VoipNow Platform has been granted to VoipNow users through this group. The VoipNow users can also exchange information, ideas and insights on the Unified Communications and Telecom market.

"The definition of Unified Communications is constantly evolving. Bringing together all communication flows, including the social component is a top priority to 4PSA. We want to provide a friendly area to discuss about the latest progress in UC, exchange ideas, share knowledge and keep in touch with the most recent developments,” said Elena Carstoiu, vice president of Sales and Marketing at 4PSA, in a release.

According to Carstoiu, the most important news in the UC field will be centralized by the organization’s editors. These will be then made available to the group.

The ongoing development of the VoipNow platform is reflected by the group. The group also reflects the evolution of Unified Communications as a whole. All service providers, integrators, end-users and technology enthusiasts who are willing to participate in and contribute to the next generation UC platforms can be members of the group.

Carstoiu said, "4PSA is working on bringing more than Social Communications to the VoipNow Communications Hub, simplifying the users' life and helping organizations stay better interconnected through web services. The open community profile reflects our vision of the evolution of the Social Unified Communications in the cloud." Carstoiu has also urged all LinkedIn users to join and share their thoughts.

All LinkedIn users can view discussions on The Social Unified Communications Group. LinkedIn users need to be a member of the group to take part in the discussions.
