VoSKY Technologies, a company that specializes in Skype (News - Alert) for business solutions, recently announced that it won a “Best of Show” award at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2007 (a TMC event). The company was recognized for its VoSKY Exchange family of gateways that enable Skype for business use.

 

The VoSKY Exchange line of products enables businesses to greatly reduce their telecom costs by adding inbound and outbound Skype lines to the corporate phone system (TDM or IP PBX (News - Alert)) without changes to existing equipment. These products also centralize Skype account provisioning and management.

 

Because Skype is the world’s largest, free VoIP network, companies can maximize the benefits of using Skype-to-Skype calling for its office-based and remote or mobile workers. Domestic, Skype-to-Skype calling is free, and international rates for the service as are low as 2 cents per minute.

 

One VoSKY Exchange device add Skype for business functionality to the entire corporate office—every phone extension can be used for Skype calling, without using a PC and headset. Multiple offices can be connected via Skype by installing a VoSKY Exchange box at each location. Mobile workers can make Skype calls, too, using a special access code and free Web-based click-to-call functionality.
