Sagemcom, the provider of IP fax server solutions, announced it is demonstrating its
XMediusFAX Release 6.5 Fax over IP software this week.
The company is showcasing the software in booth E14 at Cisco Live 2010 Barcelona, which runs through Jan. 28. There, Sagemcom officials will show how the software can enhance enterprise unified communications in high availability and disaster recovery scenarios.
Reportedly, the XMediusFAX Release 6.5 solution is the world's first application-certified fax solution to run inside a Cisco (News - Alert) Integrated Services Router and Application eXtension Platform, according to the company. It offers top enhancements that offer users quick ROI and cost-effective branch survivability as well as 'auto-healing' capabilities. Users can deploy the software in the office, at home, or while on the road.
The XMediusFAX solution addresses mission-critical IP fax applications to enhance branch IT, UC and enterprise content management ecosytems, the company said.
Other features of XMediusFAX Release 6.5 include:
* A multilingual user interface, which supports English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Portuguese.
* FoIP-optimized operations enhancements allowing rapid deployment and troubleshooting.
* A top-notch, report-generation engine that give users more control and business process efficiency.
* Advanced number modification allowing flexible UC application deployment.
* Full SIP-based interoperability with major UC platforms, and gateway and infrastructure solutions, including Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange 2010 Server.
