IP fax solutions provider Sagem-Interstar (News - Alert) will be participating in the
2009 Cisco Virtual Partner Summit, a global event for Cisco (News - Alert) partners to interact, collaborate and learn. The online event, which kicks off in Boston tomorrow, June 2, and runs through June 30, will host an array of live streaming video keynote sessions, executive chats and webcasts.
The goal of the event is to give Cisco partners around the world the opportunity to collaborate, interact and innovate with other Cisco partners and discover opportunities to help grow their businesses.
Sagem-Interstar will participate June 2-4 -- and post-event until June 30. Sagem-Interstar representatives will be available to interact with visitors to its virtual booth in the online Exhibit Hall in the Borderless Networks section of the event. Here, attendees can learn about
Sagem-Interstar’s latest eco-friendly, integrated Fax over IP (FoIP) solutions for the Cisco ISR and Cisco Application eXtension Platform (AXP).
Attendees will also discover ways to open new markets and revenue streams in the Cisco channel; optimize branch office survivability and ROI of their IP fax systems; reduce costs and hardware footprint; enhance UC and virtualization; and improve productivity and compliance.

This year’s Summit will offer new features to help Cisco partners collaborate and interact with each other. Webcasts will enable attendees to attend virtual sessions and learn about the latest technology advancements and program updates. Attendees can also interact with experts by chat and get real-time responses to questions.
The Technology Solutions (News - Alert) Forums will enable attendees to visit virtual booths featuring the latest Cisco technologies, solutions and programs, and chat live with content experts.
The Partner Exchange will help attendees find (or be found by) other Cisco partners, thus helping them build partnerships and expand into new markets.
And the Lounge gives attendees the chance to join a Cisco executive blog or chat with other Cisco partners.
The event will also feature ongoing live streaming video of keynotes -- including the opening keynotes by John Chambers (News - Alert), Keith Goodwin and other Cisco executives starting at 8:45 a.m. (EDT), Tuesday, June 2.
