capSpire, a global commodity trading and risk management consulting and solutions firm, has announced a partnership with OpenText, a provider of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, successfully joining the OpenText Global Partner Program.

OpenText partnership marks an important milestone for capSpire as the firm continues to expand its two-year-old ECM practice.

As part of the partnership program, capSpire will deliver OpenText ECM services and solutions, which are designed to optimize data processes and provide better visibility and access to corporate information.

Jeff Hardcastle, capSpire co-founder, said that capSpire consultants can help both large and small corporations build a new environment or manage their current environment.

capSpire recently added Syed Ahmed to lead the new ECM team. He will spearhead growth around capSpire’s new OpenText ECM services and solutions.  Ahmed said that capSpire is committed to providing the best services and solutions to the customers by enabling the most efficient and productive ECM methodologies.

“This collaboration with OpenText will allow us to extend our methods and is important for the benefit of our customers. Our goal is to develop relationships and partnerships with the best in the industry and to deliver the best services and solutions,” he said.

Earlier this month, capSpire announced a new service offering to assist and guide companies through the process of selecting commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) software solutions. With the influx of new and updated technology in the CTRM space, companies are challenged to acquire a detailed understanding of the solutions available to run their trading operations.

The firm’s new service offering will leverage capSpire’s extensive commodity trading software solutions experience with its deep understanding of the multi-commodity trading industry.
