Sagemcom’s (News - Alert) IP Fax solution, XMediusFAX 7.0, has successfully completed interoperability verification testing with Cisco’s Unified Communication Manager 9.1 and Cisco’s Unity Connection 9.0, popular unified communications control platforms. The testing is designed to simulate typical customer configurations, assuring the compatibility of Sagemcom’s flagship solution within a common spectrum of Cisco-based unified communications setups.

Recently, Sagemcom released its XMediusFAX Cloud solution, which is based on its XMediusFax 7.0 on-premise release. The fax over IP solution leverages IP telephony and unified communications (UC) systems to enhance productivity, collaboration, and ROI by integrating fax on the desktop. The solution is now available in a hosted format, using IP fax boards and the T.38 Fax over IP protocol to manage large fax volumes and deliver high levels of security, advanced integration, and monitoring and reporting capabilities over the cloud.

Sagemcom will be showcasing the capabilities of both its on-premise and cloud XMediusFAX service at Cisco Live in Orlando, Florida, next week.
